From first measurements to a weather-tight shell and finished rooms.

Intended use and layout
How the new space will be used, how it connects to existing rooms and what it needs to hold.
Structure and connection
Foundations, framing and how loads tie into the existing building, reviewed before design is fixed.
Drawings and approvals
Design, engineering and the permit submission support the municipality requires for your scope.
Site constraints
Setbacks, access for equipment and materials, grading and drainage around the new footprint.
Construction coordination
Sequencing trades and inspections, and protecting the occupied home during the work.
Exterior and interior integration
Cladding, rooflines, windows and finishes chosen to sit naturally with the existing house.

Addition questions
What information should I bring?
The address, how you'd like to use the new space, rough size, and any existing drawings or surveys of the house.
Can drawings be a first phase?
Yes. Many owners start with a design and drawing package, then decide on construction once the scope and approvals are clearer.
How is the budget developed?
Once the scope is defined we price the structure, foundations, servicing, finishes and approvals for your property, rather than quoting a general rate.
Will I need to move out?
It depends on the scope and how the work is phased. We discuss sequencing and access early so you can plan around it.
Tell us about your addition
Two short steps. Share the location and what you have in mind, and we'll come back to you about next steps. A rough idea is enough to begin.
